Studio

This room is designed with highly soundproof walls and a green screen with lighting set up. From NPTEL courses to interviews and research talks to science activities; this area is open to the recording of all sorts of scientific activities.

In short, this particular space at SMC hosts all the recording jobs initiated here.

Control Room

We can call this place as the 3rd eye of SMC. Here, we have a Newtek TriCaster live mixer system which operates with multiple cameras in real time. This system is highly efficient and user-friendly where live editing is possible.

This is the second home for all the members of the Science Media Centre, IISER Pune; the liveliest space in the media center. This is the origin of all our imaginations, creations and ambitions. Here, we learn, we teach and we share information. A place where knowledge is valued as the highest treasure.

This place accommodates a total of 10 editing suites where our members write and edit scripts to give meaning to their imaginations by bringing those to life.

For editing audio-visual content, we use

Adobe Illustrator is used for 2D illustrations and Adobe After Effects for composition.

Other tools are used for different purposes such as Adobe Premiere Lightroom Classic for color correction, Adobe Audition for sound modification, Adobe Photoshop for photos modification Adobe Illustrator for graphic design, etc.

This hub of science communication is open 24*7 to all fraternity of IISER, Pune.
